Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on 7 December th, 1963 in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a household of faith, supported by loving and loving parents. He is the father of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. Her divine grace was passed down to her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is supported by all members of the family. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. After a scholarship was granted to study the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University), he was awarded an BSc degree in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. He was at Ambrose Ali University when he received a call from God to be a minister and servant of the Lord.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's native Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The church has two healing schools that are located in South Africa.
